This card is for the Technique Lovers Challenge TLC592 which was creating paper marbling.
This card is done following Karen's instructions and I'm quite happy with it, the white spots are where bubbles formed and then popped. To take some of the starkness of the white away I sprayed the whole card with water and perfect pearls - raspberry shimmer, mixed together in a mini mister.
I also applied Wink of Stella to the flower after I had coloured it.
The flower was cut out five times first with white X-Press It blending paper and this is the one that I coloured with the Copic markers then four more times with SU Pacific Point. You sandwich all of them together, this is the best way to give elements dimension if you have small or intricate pieces on the element and comes curtisie of Jennifer McGuire.
The flower has also been clear heat embossed twice. I'm in love with this effect at the moment.
This card is also for the CAS challenge for this week; to use "good ole red, white and blue"
The card has come out very shimmery and sparkly but is a little hard to capture on camera because it is subtle.
Really enjoyed making this card, thanks Karen and Carla for your inspiration.
Cheers
Marg
