I stamped the tree outline first in permanent brown ink, stamping off once to create a light image. I tore a whole from the center of a piece of paper towel, and used that as a mask around my tree. I then splattered three colours of diluted re-inkers (real read, daffodil delight and tempting turquoise). The wet inks blended to create other colours in the splattered tree. I removed the paper towel mask and splattered a few more times to add a bit more randomness around the outer edges.
I combined leftover diluted yellow and blue re-inkers to create the green that I added to the bottom of the tree.
To finish, I used diluted dark brown re-inker to add some more depth of colour to the tree trunk and a few of the branches ... and stamped a sentiment.
Super easy and fun card to make.

This amazed me with controlled splattering! That idea is a great one! The look of leaves falling from the trees is phenomenal, Loll. You still removed the paper and controlled it beautifully!
