Well ... where did this come from you ask? At my LCS, where I work, there is a shadowbox bird. The bird has texture, like paint maybe. As I walked by it today I began to think of how I could turn it into a card. In honor of Karen Barber's 'hatred' for Bermuda Bay I tore it into tiny pieces! Also tore the Daffodil & Tangerine. I put 2 pieces of packing tape behind the bird & adhered the torn pieces. I inlaid the legs & beak. This looks very strange I know, but it is what it is and ... it looks nothing like like the inspiration piece at the store!!!

creativity takes all shapes and sizes and forms.....this is very unique and clever and catches the eye for its uniqueness.......I think it is a great depiction of your described inspiration piece

What a sweet back story, Karen. I love your honesty, too. We, however, have no idea if it does or doesnot look like what's in your LSS. I think it's fun and funky, always a great combination in my book.
