I found the inspiration for my card from the following two cards on Stampin' Connection. I made the skirt using one of the retired circle framelits dies, cut it in half, scored the center, then folded each side over to the score, then folded it back again, making the "pleat". The petticoats are made from cupcake papers. The first time I made banners from the Fiesta Time Framelits Dies I thought all the little holes were to help release paper from the die, and perhaps this is part of their function, but I realized tonight that they had a pattern that I poked with my paper piercing tool to make the patter on the banners. I once saw a film showing an artist making these banners (I think it was in San Antonio, TX) and using a blade she cut the patterns through many layers of paper. It was amazing and beautiful.

What a great card! I love the dress and the papers you used are so festive! Great idea to use the cupcake papers for the petticoats! This caught my eye right away.
