I had started this card on Tuesday, but had a terrible time trying to watercolor this cute little bear. I was trying to use my ink refills, but they kept bleeding into one another even when I embossed the image. So I walked away from it. Today I tried again and used my watercolor pencils, which were easier to control. I added Wink of Stella to the bear's belly and the faux brads. The plaid piece was an attempt to make a watercolor plaid, but I had the same problem of the reinkers bleeding even after I had dried them. I will try the plaid again with watercolor paints and see if I like the result better.

I thought you bought that awesome plaid bg paper...it turned out so pretty. I think watercolor looks better when the lines blend a little. All the colors are beautiful and that little guy skipping is adorable. What an upbeat, happy card.

Cute! Love your use of the bright colors. This card looks so happy. Watercoloring is most often not precise. Yours is great! Some blending is to be expected and adds to the hand-painted look. Love how you painted the background plaid. It really adds a fun element. I like the faux brads, too. Nicely done. TFS
