I wanted to create some stationery this week because I have several neglected friends that I need to send letters to. So I took advantage of the Inspiration Site to create my CAS altered-stationery designs.
Crown Mill notecards and envelopes are perfect for short handwritten letters (I usually write on both sides), and they travel very easily in snail mail! My goal was to keep the stamping very simple, and to add pops of color, without completely coloring the images. I usually write with a fountain or dip pen, so I appreciate the soft, yet linen-like, texture of the paper that really helps to show off my lettering. I hope you like these - because I totally got over-inspired this time LOL!
Please join us and 'turn on' your creativity as we are inspired by wall plates this week on IC546!
Hugs,
Audrie

In all my years, I have never seen a calligraphy pen like this one. Holy Smokes, girl, where ever did you find this?
I had to laugh when I saw your decorated envelope. Just too darn sweet. These certainly make a statement about who you are behind the scenes.

So perfect for a handwritten note, Audrie - and I am over-the-top impressed that you still write letters, rather than email! so much more personal - and then the added bonus of your "altering" them is just the frosting on the cake!! Lucky friends you have!
