Check out WT583 HERE to see why I made this card for it!
I was delighted to see the Envelope Fold Card tutorial featured in the Weekly Inkling recently. I'd seen a couple of cards that Melissa uploaded here in December, and watched her blog for a couple of months hoping for a tutorial. In the end I figured out my own, but I'm hoping that the next one I make will be SO much easier with the tutorial already there .
I used October Afternoon papers and some Core'dinations card for the grass. Scraps of green paper with metallic flecks in it for the Stacker trees. The Unity house was stamped, coloured and fussy-cut with an extra layer for dimension on the roof. I added flower sequins and some clouds.
To the pop-out parts I added a gate and fence, and blue border along the top, and part of a die-cut tree at the side. The little cat was a RAK, I coloured it as a marmalade cat.
I might add a sentiment stamped above the house, still not sure.

Wow, Sabrina! This is a creative and darling little (maybe BIG) labour of paper love. Good for you figuring out your own way through the assembly. I would not even think to tackle such an undertaking. You did an amazing job.

What a terrific scene card, Sabrina. I love the combination of papers you chose, and the blue scalloped border looks fantastic. Placing the little cat in the open gate was a terrific touch.

This is so, so cute and wonderful! The fence and open gate with the kitty sitting just inside the opening and the own in the tree - you've got it all covered.

Sabrina this is darling! It reminds me of one of those pop up books where the page turns into a 3D house. Your details are fabulous..the fence, the cat waiting by the fence, and the eyelet border...amazing!

Truly a WOW!!, Sabrina. Can't begin to calculate the amount of time it took you to create this wonderful, dimensional card. Just loved taking in all the small details. A delight to whomever receives it.
