This is for my pal Carla...when I saw that she was today's Featured Stamper I just had to make a card for her! She's really fun and got a great style..I love the humor in her cards. I know how she loves her crazy birds so I chose this card to CASE. Since I don't have TH crazy bird stamps I used some bagpipers....kind of an odd choice you might think but...this is a birthday card for my cousin. Yes, he's a piper! He embraced his Scottish heritage at an early age and took up the bagpipes. I believe he still plays in a bagpipe band, troop?? (what the heck are they called?) to this day some 35 or 40 years later. The greeting is computer generated as is the one I'm putting on the inside which reads "Me Neither. Oh Well. Have a good one" . I changed the background from Carla's card to make it an outdoor scene. Hope you like it. Have a wonderful week Carla..You're the BEST!!

Love your marvelous card my friend! Very creative take on the card, the plaid hills are great and love your bagpipers! Hmmm, Crazy Birds in kilts, sounds like a winner!! Thanks for your kind words and for honoring me with a card.

Beautiful Scottish themed card - where did you get that tartan design paper - I needed it the other day. Extremely hard to find here. Nothing nicer than someone all kitted out with kilt and bagpipes.

No...but I'm up for it, lol! My maternal grandfather's family came from Scotland & I love the sound of bagpipes & I adore plaid! So your card is perfect!

What a GREAT card for your cousin, Polly. I cannot imagine "Happy Birthday" on the pipes....but I'm sure it has been done many times. A lovely tribute to Carla in both words and your card. Your cousin will LOVE it too. The rolling tartan hills are a terrific bg for the pipers three.

Why yes... yes I have. My BIL had these play at his wedding and birthday so I have heard them a lot the last 6 years. This is fun, great image and case.
