When I saw the challenge for today I knew it was time to let go of the piece of Wrinkle free distress background I had made a while back. Yes I was hoarding it. I loved how it turned out. It was a 6 x 9 piece so I cut it into 3" squares as I wanted to use the square die over it. I thought these birds would fit in the center circle of the die and sure enough. So matching the second paper with the colors in each square and giving the panel a white mat was all needed to finish my cards.

All your cards are lovely, Pat, but this is my favorite. Your beautiful image of the birds and their nest against the pretty created bg seems like a close-up of what might be in the die cut tree. This is a stunning card.

Love them all but this one (like Sallie) is also my favourite. I can certainly see why you didn't want to part with this lovely background! It looks fabulous behind that pretty silhouette. Makes for a wonderful focal point on all three of your cards!
