This is my 2nd sample for CC581. Karen is our hostess and she chose blackberry bliss, wisteria wonder, soft sky and pear pizzazz for her palette. Dessert is to use sequins.
On this card I simply sponged the challenge colors on whisper white cardstock. I stamped the silhouette image in blackberry bliss. It's from an old Stampin'-Up set - kind and caring thoughts".
Everything reminded me of a sympathy card so that's the direction I went with my sentiment. I never have these type cards on hand when I need one. I used some SU striped dsp from the "park lane" collection and added a ½" strip on each side of my blackberry bliss card base. I used dimensionals to pop up the image panel
To finish off the card I scattered some sequins and a butterfly. Hope you can play along with us this week. Karen has chosen some great colors. Check out the other DT Samples for more inspiration.

Oh, Mary, I just LOVE this! The layers of color complement one another in just the right order, the silhouette is so elegant, and the dsp on the sides frame this perfectly. A gorgeous card!

Mary, I think the papercrafting muse definitely visited your house this week. Your cards are so beautiful! Love this with the silhouettes and the little butterfly!
