I am delighted to be asked to guest design with the colour challenge team for the month of May and thank the design team for their warm welcome.
Karen is our hostess this week and she has chosen Blackberry Bliss, Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz.
I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks and Docraft markers for my colours. For my background I first stamped the background flowers using a mid-purple marker spritzed with water, then masked using an extra die cut. I inked my embossing folder with Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass and spritzed with water then applied my paper to the folder. I stamped the flowers with Memento ink on watercolour paper and inked my craft mat with Docrafts light purple painting the petals with my aqua brush. For the flower centre I used my gold glitter pen and for the stems, I inked my mat again with the olive ink and spritzed with a tiny bit of water, then dragged my die cut stems through it. I stamped my sentiment in dusty concord and added a few sequins and crystals for dessert. Thanks for having a look today.

Such a pretty card, Kia! The background provides great interest behind those lovely petals. The sequins just dance around the flowers. Love how you designed this!

Your lovely card has me scratching my head, saying "how'd she do that?"!! The background is so unique and the flowers are soft and beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration.
