The wonderful and sweet Kia (kiagc) hosted the Clean and Simple Challenge, CAS374, Let the Background Talk. The challenge needs no explanation as the title of it says it all.
To make this CAS card, I simply covered one side of an embossing folder with Crumb Cake Ink, inserted my Whisper White Card Stock into the folder, ran it through the Big Shot, sponged inks over the embossing, added some VersaMark, embossed with Pewter Embossing Powder, stamped and fussy cut a floral image, stamped a sentiment, and cut the sentiment out with a die. That's all it took!
Thanks, Kia, for a simple CAS challenge!!
Thanks for viewing the card and leaving comments!

You say simple, I say beauty ... you achieved a wonderful background Bev. It is the perfect background for your flower and sentiment. Thanks so much for playing along in this week's CAS challenge.

Wow, this card is luscious with all the rich coloration and splats of embossing. Very cool...and I can't believe this all started with crumb cake ink in the embossing folder...thanks for sharing that tidbit, I must try this while it is still fresh in my mind. I love learning design ideas from creative people like you! TFS

Who would have ever thought an EF, some versamark and color could end up looking like this. WOW. Your sentiment caused me to really think about flowers. Flowers are a great testimony to God's graciousness. when I look at flowers, all I see is His majesty in color and design. Then when I watch the birds that surround flowers, I'm am in awe again of His greatness. I surround myself with flowers during the summer, even though I don't know their names. I think your card speaks, in an artistic way, of His incomprehensible majesty.
