Hello, sweet friends! What a busy day it's been. Today I have two cards for you - one is this card for the Power Poppy Instant Garden Digital Image called Created to Create, and what fun to color - I had a wonderful time and also decided to make my flowers a totally different color. Yes, they are daffodils, but I was looking for pink daffodils (and there really are pink daffodils). Mine took a different direction, and I think it fit with the "freedom" of this collage - do you think? Well, they are peachy pink now. Hehe! I also had fun with making my watercolor kit "messy" like when I watercolor!
This new digi comes as you see it and also with the "canvas" blank to do whatever you want. Fun, eh? There is a lot of coloring on this one, but you know I love to color. I decided to use a die I haven't used yet with a notebook edge, and it took me quite a while to get it all lined up with the matting and the die. I added a top-fold card base with the notebook edge hanging off (and it will need a handmade envelope that I just may decorate too).
Thanks so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you like it. It sure was fun and good therapy for me. I need to color more (for enjoyment and practicing my flicking that I learned in class - haha!).
Stop by my blog for more details and to see both cards and the new digis.

Love love Cheryl - this image would be so nice to give my w/c teacher for a "just because" card. Time to go visit Power Poppy! The notebook die looks great too - I can't say I have seen that die. You know those wish lists we all keep - mine is out of control, so time to reign it all in, hence no window shopping - but I can't stop looking at cards now can I. tfs

I am speechless (ask my family...that does not happen often). You were the most amazing copic colorer (I think I may have made that title up) before the class, but now you need to teach the class. Tell your sweet DH that he has caused an extreme case of "copic coloring envy" to occur in Southern Calif. What a fun image and you colored it to perfection.

That's charming! I will testify, there are pink daffies-at least with pink or salmon trumpets.
It reminds me a bit of Susan Branch art b/c of the way you colored it in this case. When I bought cards hers were some of my favs which is why I thought of it. I like yours even better because it is more vibrant.
