This is the card I made for this week's teapot party. Our cards are going to Paulina, who could use some cheer following unexpected surgery. Paulina loves bright colors, so maybe this will bring a smile.
The image was stamped with VersaMark, heat embossed with turquoise ep and colored with Gelly Roll Stardust pens. It was trimmed and double- matted with glitter cs. I added white gel pen accents and applied Glossy Accents to the flower centers.
The background piece was stamped with the sentiment using VersaMark and heat embossed with clear ep. I attached the focal image and trimmed the background piece to the size I wanted - so much easier than trying to figure out measurements and cut beforehand! I rounded the corners and attached it to the card base, which was also trimmed to size on the right side, and rounded those corners also.
I die cut the word "awesome" from matching glitter paper and stacked it with die cuts from 110lb cs. This was attached with Scotch quick dry liquid adhesive.
As always, thanks for looking!

Very pretty Jody! I like how you highlighted the flowers and leaves with this white pen and also added the glossy accents.....makes for a fun card! I'm sure this will be much appreciated!

You're a brave woman, Jody, using spray glue. When I've used it, it's all over everywhere. Your card is delightful. I'm certain Paulina will so love having this in her hands. I am overwhelmed that you used jelly roll pens. I would never have thought of that. Those dots are divine on the leaves. Leave it to you to create something that's extra special for someone who could use some support.

There's always so many elements on your cards to like. I know from your description with the glitter paper, this is even prettier in real life. Like those doodled flowers with the added white, and the rounded corners. Very attractive card. TFS
