Audrie sweetly asked if I might have a journaling page or two (I might have ten or twenty... thousand. HA!) to offer as inspiration for this past Saturday's Inspiration Challenge. Audrie sent us "fishing" so to say for our inspiration and can I just say WOW! There, I said it! I'm not sure that my offering will stand to offer much. Not only will you find a ton of inspiration at Michelle's site (Seaweed Kisses) but there is already SO MANY amazing ideas already in the IC539 gallary (all links below).
Audrie gave us a two part challenge for this Inspiration Challenge... 1. be inspired by something of Michelle's and 2. stamp on something OTHER THAN a card.
So this journal entry meets both requirements (although we are encouraged to do either/or OR both parts of the challenge). I love how Michelle incorporates images into her journaling so I've added stamps to my journaling here. The stamped words are words that are within my journaling text and they are the main course of this particular writing so I wanted them to stand out a bit. Stamping these words are the perfect way to make them stand out AND stamping is easier and quicker (for me, personally) than handlettering.
Now YOU try it... grab some stamps and go journal a bit. Write your thoughts, your hopes, your dreams, heck- your frustrations if you need to. Although I will insert a word of advice... journaling our frustrations can be good therapy BUT NOT if that is the only thing we journal. I have a journal for my frustrations and another journal for my happy thoughts. I'm always sure to balance the two and even try to focus more on my happy journal. This photo is of my Bible Journaling... which is my best therapy of all!

I LOVE your handwriting, and how you incorporate your stamped and hand penned components. Spectacular artistic worship is what it really is! HUGE thanks for playing along!
