My son brought over his girlfriend's daughter, 8 years old. She had never stamped before. I enjoy working with kids and watching their enthusiasm as they try new things and mixing colors is just so fun for them. We did stencil monoprinting from this tutorial by Lee Anne. She dug through my stamps for sentiments. This is always interesting because kids find stamps I've long forgotten I had or have never used. Thanks for stopping by.

Wow I have to try this technique...the only mono-printing I have ever done was inking acetate folders and laying paper between (usually leaves bubble like texture/impressions). This looks so cool!
Whatever stencils you use they look wonderful!! Love these new cards!

You definitely have a budding creative little person in your hands now - I can't think of a more nurturing teacher than you! I love the sentiments she is finding in your stash!!

Thanks for linking Lee Anne's tutorial, Nancy. This is another Ashleigh work of art. Love the color palette Ashleigh used for this one. I also really like the white untouched lines throughout. Very pretty card.

Oh my, Nancy, Ashleigh surely had such fun (as Becky and I did when you were here last year - I have such fond memories of that day!!). But a delight to share the joy of art with a clearly budding young artist! Hugs!
