This is for this weeks 2 challenges the color challenge I loved the colors so had to try and incorporate this weeks t-pot challenge together for our very own Cheryl...aka Cherylquilts. She is going through some very bad health issues and could so use some love.
I was gifted the spool and thread so new I wanted to use that and as well as the lovely sewing sentiment. I found my EF that h ad liek faux stitching on it so used it for the bgs. Wanted the different colors as layers so embossed the layers and silly me cut all the little triangles out. Thought of later wuould have been easier to use the quilting scissors...lol...so if you do the same good tip...lol.
Then just did the layers water colored the thread and used silver gel pen for the scissors and needle. I fussy cut out the spool and tape and raised it with bits of foam. Made a heart patch and added the stitches and button...once figured out what to do easy breezy.
Thanks for the visit...:0)

Wendy, this is so perfect for both challenges. So good to see you in the challenges. I have a sense Cheryl will love seeing what you've created for her and have done for the sake of a quilt.
