The Southwest set was one of the first I got in 1998 when I started stamping . . . so thought it was approprate to use it again for the my very 1st uploaded card.
I stamped and embossed the SW Chile 3X on Scrap stock, then cut out and mounted with dimensionals to my card. I added a Raffia bow tied around the stems and the southwest Border to give it a little more zing!

Welcome SCS, and congratulations on your very first upload! And it is very hot, hot, hot! What a fun idea to use your first SU set! I love the embossed peppers with the raffia and can even see the shine in your photograph. Great layout!
I know you'll find lots of inspiration and encouragement here at SCS, and perhaps you might consider joining a challenge found on the Home Page. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! Hugs!
P. S. You might want to go to the Forum, "Start Here" and get familiar with SCS and perhaps introduce yourself (by starting a new thread). Here's a direct link.

Thank you for your kind welcome! Here I am - age 68 - and finally going to learn a little more about social media. Not sure what a Thread is - other than the kind you put in a needle but I'm sure I will slowly figure out how to get around and make use of your lovely site!
