For Lisa's super-fun MMTPT396 Tickle a Teapotter.
I usually use my Rubber Romance Vivien Loves Her Shoes stamp for any shoe-related challenges - but it's not all that long since I last inked her up, so I chose to go a different direction.
I found a basic boot outline online and flipped it and adjusted it a little so that I could have a card with a fold down the left. Cut the base from grey card, then sponged a half-sheet of lightweight white card with brown inks, and pieced the boot together. The main section is embossed, and I added stitching lines with a tracing wheel. Hidden under the little pup there is a tab with a brad; there's a photo of the card minus pup in my post on the challenge thread. The star is cut from a tomato paste tube, embossed and added to card for strength.
The whole boot was polished with Judikins microglaze for a real leather look - and obviously part of it was embossed.

There's a new sheriff in town and he brought his pudgy little puppy. Love your boot card Sabrina. It really looks like leather. You did a wonderful job here. Say, I hope you are feeling better. TFS :0)

Adore the direction you took with your card for the Tickle this month! Your boot looks like GEN-U-INE leather, especially with the embossing, and the micro glaze, and the pup peeping out of the top is so sweet~!
Hope you are recuperating from not feeling well!! Hugs!

This is brilliant Sabrina. I think that paisley embossing folder is perfect for tooled leather, and you were smart about only embossing the right parts of the boot. Every once in a while, i wonder if a tracing wheel would work for piercing, and you've shown that it will (now I just have to find my tracing wheel).
