This card is a CASE of Theresa Momber's recent card. I made it as a sympathy card for a friend who recently lost her husband. I sponged the sky and lake colors on first, then masked off the horizon and sponged in the land with Concord Crush, then cut out a rock shape from a new Post it and masked that off, sponging it in with Basic Black. Added ripples and clouds with the markers and gel pen, and stamped the sentiment, bird, and grasses from the By the Sea 2 stamp set. Finally getting back to stamping after an exhausting first trimester as a new pregnant mommy! This little nugget stole ALL my energy for those first three months and I just slept all the time, ha! Feeling more like me again at last. TFL!

Wow, Naomi, the deep hues of colour you've achieved here are exceptionally pretty - it's an outstanding sympathy card for your grieving friend. Good to hear your happy news, glad you're feeling more energetic.

Love the vibrant colours - great card which I hope brings some comfort to your friend. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is less tiring and you can carry on creating beauties!

Fabulous card. So calming and peaceful. Love how you used Costal Cabana for the card base. It creates a lovely frame around the sunset. Nice touch of pink for the challenge. So sorry for your friend's loss. For you, congratulations on your pregnancy. Glad you are feeling better. I like how you called your baby "little nugget". Your beautiful card will be a comfort for your friend. TFS
