When browsing the wonderful wall covering web site for today's challenge I remembered a nautical style paper at the bottom of drawer (using it up!) Masculine cards are never easy for me, but I pressed on with this as my inspiration. http://totalwallcovering.com/p67852/...dge-toile.aspx
I cut the boat on my Cricut at 4'' and lightly brushed the edges with distress ink. I dyed some twine with Real Red re-inker - making two knots to form a border on the darker edge of the nautical paper. I kept to red for the flag and windows and popped the boat up with foam pads. A little gem pretends to be a light on the top of the mast.

A delightful male card. I love the ship die cut and the dimension you gave it with the distress ink edging. The old world map makes a perfect bg and I love the dyed twine.

Wow, this is a very different look for you, Sandie - but I LOVE it!! Love the knots and the map in the bg, and the softly inked edges of the boat! Faved.
Masculine cards are harder for me too. You would never know that yo had a hard time with them looking at this wonderful creation! Love the nautical theme! Thanks for inspiring us with another terrific card!
