Well, here goes. I did not have any rooster stamps and there was this loud noise coming from my bird stamps---was my crazy bird making such a ruckus as he said he wanted to strut his tail feathers like a rooster and would not take no for answer. Used su feathers for tail and he was so excited to have long colorful tail as he kept peeking. Then colored him all colors to match feathers, drew his feet, sponged grass, and sky. I had this done then when over my grandsons he had been playing with his stamps and I spied a rooster stamp after telling him about the card I was making and he said grandma you can use my rooster stamp if you bring it back, so did the background, stamped outline so I colored in with markers and watercolor pencils, ran both pieces thru eb folders, computer generated sentiment and popped both on, I think he really thinks he is a rooster strutting his tail feathers.--tried to find my store bought feathers but alas they seemed to have run away-LOL

In answer to his question...he looks like a rooster. How fun is this! It never ceases to amaze me how versatile these Tim Holtz Crazy Birds are...quite astonishing what people can make (I've seen them made into a giraffe!!!). Love your crazy rooster bird!

Clever! It's amazing what some creative can do. Nice! Love the rooster background, too. What a coincidence that your GS had a rooster stamp just when you needed it. Great card. TFS

Love your crazy rooster! It looks like you had a lot of fun with this crazy bird's disguise and your bg is great. Good thing your gs was there to save the day.

He looks very handsome - and totally fun!! And I do love your DIY background paper with your grandson's rooster stamp (how sweet of him to share - with that "give it back" caveat) - so who rules the roost here? It's a pity you couldn't find your "real" feathers but the stamped ones look pretty cool.
