My card fits this week's Mix-Ability challenge - check the Mix-Ability Challenge Forum for all the details! I used a free digital stamp from www.birdscards.com - quite honestly, carnations are one of my least favorite flowers, but I went with it, and had a fun little memory of organizing candy grams in junior high... I found a pink carnation that had a sort of speckled center, and it reminded me of our Pointillism tutorial, so I used that technique. When I finished the flowers and background I decided I liked the look without going on to green, so that's where I stopped. Thanks for looking! xo

Beautiful, Dini. No green needed here...perfect as is. Love the pointillism technique.

I love how you used the carnations. Your memory reminded me of how bad it felt to see all the popular girls get their carnations and how it felt to not get any. So glad I don't have to base my worth on what others think of me. I love the multi blocks, reminded me of a quilt. Thanks for playing with my challenge.

I think these "tile" cards are difficult to make "look good as a cohesive whole".....you've done a fabulous job and the coloring of your carnation images and bg is exquisite.

Do I, this is gorgeous! I love the small squares and the pointillism technique you've used.
