Karen is our hostess this week, and she has picked what might be my favorite color combination ever! Watermelon Wonder, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive. Thank you, Karen! The dessert option is to have an oval on your card.
I tried to create a kind of woven tropical fiber effect with that little stripey stamp. Not sure if I achieved it, but it was fun stamping all over the layer. It did take me a while to cut, sponge and shape the flowers, but I am very pleased with the results. I really love this stamp and die set.
This card will go to our daughter and son-in-law, who are hosting us right now in their home-away-from-home on The Big Island of Hawaii. They really are so incredibly awesome!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week! Aloha!

Yes, that stamp did give a kind of fiber-type feel to your bg - great idea! And I love this card, Barbara - so pretty and the glitter around the oval is so eye-catching! Enjoy your time in Hawaii - I'm jealous!
