okay, Sandy Allnock...! If you have never seen this YouTube vid, you will laugh yourself silly. But for me...I will continue to hoard my scraps. This very card would never have been, if I didn't...well maybe that is a slight fib.
Thanks Shoe Girl for the call to use plaid. I took the easy way out and chose to use it as wallpaper. Looks pretty good, wouldn't you say? I left a space at the bottom of the wall were a casing would be.
I've been waiting to use this beautiful chair from a recent Pottery Barn catalog...so comfy, so sturdy...perfect for sitting and counting my blessings. And I have lots to count, bet you do too! The sentiment is an unmarked wooden stamp (inked on a t~tiny scrap of Baja Breeze) I added the Cosmo Cricket type stickers in brown along the top...relax.
As for the 100 Proof Press stamp, well I hid it within the card, can you find it? It's a personal reminder to count my blessings and gather strength to get back on.
Hoping you will find lots of time 2day to sit and relax in your favorite spot...maybe watch that video and have a giggle or two...thanks so much for hanging out with me today.

Yes, I see the bicycle! I knew this was your card immediately, it has your clever, creative funky look - and more blessings need to be counted, you're right. Love it.

Well I am certainly having a giggle or two and this card is fantastic! I love how your plaid is your wall paper, it works perfectly with this beautiful chair! Sit back relay and enjoy your day while you are still counting your many blessings. Thank you for playing in my Anything Plaid challenge. Hugs!

That indeed looks like the comfiest chair, and I know how much you LOVE chairs!! What a great sentiment......we all need to be reminded to sit back and relax. The therapist at Mom's rehab told me to go home and relax, that Mom was being well taken care of, and to take care of myself. These are great words to live by (and I love your wallpaper!!) Hugs, Susan!

Today is the day I'd like to sit in that comfy chair and read a book. It's been raining for two days -- the perfect book-reading weather. Love your wallpaper!

Fun card, Susan. I think most of us card makers hoard scraps whether plain old CS or ones from special(and messy) techniques that we hope we can use another time.

Silly me..and I've been recycling my Pottery Barn catalogs! This is wonderfully creative Susan and yes, I did spot your symbolic bike right away...a good reminder. I like your close weaved plaid for the wallpaper but in real life it might be a bit much for me on a wall....ha! Genius to have worked in the ottoman ;)

YES! Saw it right away! Of course it's a bike and of course you will ride! What an awesome card! Now THAT was clever. Love the use of the plaid as wallpaper. Your fussy cutting is SO perfect too!
