It's snowing outside today, so I got off early from work. I thought I'd make a sparkly butterfly to make up for the snow and remind us spring is coming!
I haven't done a sketch challenge in a long time. I've tried to, but just couldn't make it work. I changed this a little, but I think it's still close enough to the sketch.
I didn't add a lot of embellishments so as to not take away from the butterfly focal point. Found some sparkly green leaf dp to match the sparkly green part of the 'fly and used some rich razzleberry and coordinating dsp to go along with the pinks and purples.
Of course, both dies and the butterfly are layered with dimensionals.
That's about it folks! Have a great day!

A snow day??? How awesome you could get home and do a challenge. Your stain glass technique is GORGEOUS for the butterfly. Your card is a beauty in every way, Pamzi. Guess what? We have had a bit of snow, too. Have a great weekend.

Fruitcake, Fruitcake, Fruitcake (can you hear me say this in my german accent?) I could never, honestly, ever create a card like this. I see you used Crystal Effects, Array of Glitter. I have no idea what either of these products are but you sure do. It's really a masterpiece. I'd have to say, for a fruitcake, you did well. You did really well on this. It's a gorgeous card. I've never used green and purple together, but it's really stunning. Great card.
