This card is for today's Color Challenge, Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink and Pumpkin Pie with a dessert of your favorite green. My stamping buddy, Natalie, was over to play and brought her new MISTI with her. I tried it out on this new SU set, You've Got This. I stamped the flower and then was able to position the greeting just where I wanted it with the MISTI. Using alcohol based markers, I colored the image blending the colors on the flower petals. I love most green shades, but the one I reach for most frequently is Old Olive, so that is my dessert green. I used a white gel pen to add highlights. I added some small punched butterflies and pearl accents and then layered everything up on these rockin' colors! I know the ribbon looks more white in the scan but it is actually Pretty In Pink and adds a sweet touch to this card. Come and play with us in the Color Challenge this week. These colors are so much FUN!

And... did you like the Misti? Beautiful card this week, Kathy. I love stripes, and your dessert option looks wonderful; a nice compliment to the pumpkin pie.

Beautiful coloring on your flower!! I love the touches of white gel pen that you added. I also like how you used the MISTI to tuck your sentiment in there nicely.

Kathy, your big, beautiful flower is amazing. I love the coloring, and realized only after I read your description that the white gel pen is absolutely the perfect touch on those petals. What a pretty card!
