I didn't start out cheating. I really didn't. It was a matter of 'balance' as my good friend One4Joy says. I had the circle at the bottom without the panel on a smaller card, but it just didn't project a sense of balance. I couldn't have that so changes were initiated, unfortunately.
I moved the circle up, added an embossed panel and then the bling came out. Finally, I saw 'balance.'

I'm sure the challenge police won't come and get you Anne! LOL
Your card is amazing! You have a wonderful way of blending pieces to make fantastic cards. Well done!

New York Public Library recently posted over 200,000 images for public use. As I was going through them, there were many Asian images and this one reminds me of one I saw! I love how all your elements are working together so nicely! tfs

The black white and gold are stunning together. If you can't have balance on an oriental card, where can you!!! Those beautiful gold accents are just the right touch, Anne. Gorgeous card.

*grin*, so happy to be in cahoots with a 'creative' adjuster! I had to sit and just view this serene card. And as hobbydujour put it: no one does Asian card art better than you. You are in balance.

An awesome card, Anne. You're right, a card must have balance and you achieved it.
