Congratulations to our FS466, gunilla! Her gallery totally made me drool! I was inspired by all of the recent snowmen she's uploaded. In particular this card: Merry Christmas by gunilla.holmqvist at Splitcoaststampers
Because of this card, I used Distress Inks to do some watercoloring, and used a cream card panel to make the white pop, keeping the layout the same.
To make this card, I stamped the snowman from A Jillian Vance Design with Versafine Onyx Black ink, and made a mask of the snowman using masking film. I also used masking film for the snow-covered ground, later drawing it in with a black marker.
I sponged the following inks for the sky: Adirondack Sunshine Yellow, Distress ink Scattered Straw, Distress Ink Wild Honey, SeaShells Conch Shell dye ink. I added some water and spread the ink around, also watercoloring with a couple yellow Tombow markers.
I removed the masks, and colored the snowman with Tombow markers, and added some white dots and snow with a white Gelly Roll.
The sentiment, also from A Jillian Vance Design, was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.
The scene was framed in black cardstock, and placed upon a creme panel.
Thanks so much for looking!

I always love your cards, Kecia, with your terrific coloring and great sense of color. How unexpected and delightful to have the bright, warm colors as a bg for your adorable snowman. The added touches that you hand draw add so much to your wonderful cards.

Your glowing yellow sky is a real eye catcher! Love your snowman's gorgeous scarf. Your colouring has such nice texture to it. Lovely card and wonderful tribute to the FS!
