I love to use Christmas stamps after Christmas, especially for thank you cards or winter greetings. I masked the outside edges of the image to create a focal point with just the houses and the snow for both the cards and the front of the envelop they are standing on. Do you like the black more like I do?
I thought this design went well with the inspiration challenge this week....even though I preferred the ivory cardstock to the white cardstock (smiles). I hand penned the sentiment because I'm always looking for excuses to practice-LOL.
Oh my goodness! I love this. The image is so peaceful and subtle. I love both the black and sepia inks on the beautiful ivory cards. The gold trim on the cards add such an element of elegance and your hand penned sentiment is wonderful. I love your mini cards as well.
I loved Lydia's challenge last week but I missed you!!!

gorgeous and I love your calligraphy too.
I love your pen...is it ink filled or do you have to dip.
I just wimp out on my calligraphy and use markers. They dry fast and I don't have to fuss but I love the sharpness of the edges of your which is the look you want when doing that style.
hugs,
K

Gorgeous! Definitely prefer the black ink on the ivory. Masking the image with an irregular outline is something I've not seen done - thanks for sharing this creative design idea. As for the sentiment you hand penned, I must say I am disappointed to learn that I can't by a stamp that looks just like this! Have you considered doing your own line of sentiment stamps? I would be first in line to buy!!!
TFS this delightful CAS take on the challenge.
