This appears not to be very festive...but the party is inside the card...look at the next image! Wooo-hooo!!! I actually made this card for my daughters friend that moved to the Czech Republic...but I do have a very fun card that I will send as my 'Teapot' card for the week.
I used the bokeh technique...it is supposed to resemble a tree trunk, but it came out a bit lighter than I had wanted. I used a fox stamp from the Lawn Fawn Party Animal set...as close to a puppy as I had, and I am not as artistic as many of the folks on this site. I did not even attempt to draw my own!

Well, I am right there with you on not drawing, that's why we have stamps, no?? I think the soft colours in the bokeh give a great woodsy feel. Aperture cards like this are such fun...the surprise party inside is darling.
