I decided to watercolor the three colors that were my colors (or at least as close as I could come to them). Then I spattered the water color to get some water spots. I used a die to cut the holes and backed it with white. To keep it simple I used the die cut Thanks in white and eggplant so it would show up better. The inside has the "Your too kind" sentiment from Whimsical Words.

Love the wash of watercolour in those lovely soft shades. A great combination of colours from the Wheel. PS - summer holidays here at the moment and the beach is so crowded - I will leave it till February once school goes back before I venture down there again and the weather might be a little gentler and not so hot.

Beautifully done card, Pat. The die cut "Thanks" is the focal point....and reason for your card, but it is your fabulous watercolored bg that really makes this an artisitic and creative card. Love the idea to die cut the holes.

Super background for your Thank You card! I like the white of the holes showing through and balancing the white of your die cut sentiment. Great idea to offset the purple on the white. Really makes it pop!
