The theme this week was traditions. Within the last few years our Stamp Group has adopted the 'ugly Christmas sweater' tradition for our Christmas meeting. This year was no exception...can you say 'really ugly'!!! My card is a fairly simple one. The main image is a candy wrapper called ..what else..Ugly Sweater Chocolate! I trimmed the foil wrapper and stuck it down on cardstock a with glue stick then trimmed it 1/8" and added double sided tape. Next came tons of gold glitter..just for fun! LOL I found the old gold rick-rack at the bottom of a box along with the piece of DP. The greeting is by Cheery Lynn.

Whatever about the sweater ;-), the gold and red are just fab. I'm afraid I can't bring myself to spend money on something I'd only wear once a year if that - last time DH needed a Christmas sweater I just die-cut lots of Christmas shapes from felt and tacked them on!!

Great way to recycle. Bet you had to try a lot of the candy before you found the perfect wrapper - he he. I love the bright splash of gold on the card too. Just perfect.

Ugly sweater chocolate --- interesting. This tops (pun intended) my ugly sweater Christmas card from last year. Love the festive touches of gold glitz.
