One of the great joys of living close to a fella SCS'er is an abundance of extras. I recently was gifted some of tessaduck's left overs and am I one lucky duck! I love her 'quilted' embedded die background. It reminds me of mountains we have close to our house. Mountains my husband and I climb most every morning.
So when raven girl issued the Shadow challenge today for the WT, I knew this dear couple that I had cut from the paper a few weeks ago would make a great card. Against the back drop of Brenda's beautiful bg. I adhered black cs to the newspaper photo, embossed my sentiment (which is difficult to read) on top of the gentleman. It is: WALK a path unexplored. That's my husband, getting ready to walk a new path in his career. I am so very proud of him for having the courage to do something new at this stage of his life. He's fearless and the most awesome role model for our beloved sons.
So sorry I couldn't capture a better picture of this card today...it's all grey and wet out our windows this morn.
May your new year bring new paths to you...maybe mountains, maybe the straight and narrow, but whatever, I know you will explore. It's written in our nature.
Merry Christmas to my friends. Thanks for stopping by.

Grey and wet and hard to take a good photo is all to often the case here!! That quilted background is beautiful; I aspire to making a Tumbling Blocks quilt some time. Thank you for always providing something thought-provoking and challenging through your cards. Wishing you a peaceful and blessed Christmas.
