This card started as a simple little penguin on a folded A2 size card using Crumb Cake (cased from some talented soul whose name I forget...possibly Susan Itell) which I did for a CAS card class for Dec 2015. BUT my little penguin friend was begging for more...so I cut down the Crumb cake card to 3.75x5" and layered on a slightly larger (4x5.25") layer of Basic Black (to make it POP!) then put it on a folded A2 card of Tangerine Tango cardstock. The black dots and dashes edge done with the Project Life black journaling marker flows right into the very thin black edge to make the colors "pop". I used a strip of Washi Tape as a colorful accent behind the penguin and cut out my little penguin friend and his fancy top hat with the Snow Place matching framelits. The snowflakes were stamped in Versamark onto the Crumb Cake. I found some Tangerine Tango designer paper scraps and cut out a little flower accent to add to his top hat band then popped a tiny little rhinestone bling on the flower....now he's ready to step out on the town and help a couple of my friends celebrate their winter birthdays!
