F4A302 = use wrapping paper. I used a copper foil paper as the back panel.....nothing fancy or creative.
MIX149 =Jump Start. I used this technique presented by Dina as well as her excellent tutorial for this week.
Side note: So there's no confusion: Some of the pine needles were done with watered down white acrylic paint. On the ornament itself, the highlights are the white of the watercolor paper(a true watercolor technique)....nothing was added to make the highlight(like paint). ; )

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This is over the top gorgeous!! I love the way the strokes in your painting mimic the texture in your wrapping paper. You did a super job with both challenges. This goes into my favorites.

There is NOTHING mundane about this card from the bg panel to the image it is absolutely sensational!!! OMGosh Sallie, this really is breaktakingly beautiful! I love your wrapping paper, both that I've seen but it doesn't surprise me because I knew they would go with your personality, elegant!
