This is for the Featured Stamper Challenge featuring Susie NelsonÂ’s gallery. I truly enjoyed looking through SusieÂ’s gallery and connected with many of her cards. As I looked, it was not a matter of finding one; it was about selecting only one to inspire my creation. I finally chose this card:
SusieÂ’s pretty raised layered flower caused me to think about the Quint-Essential Flower stamp from Stampin Up! I enjoy using it, but rarely do. Susie had used a sketch challenge, so I varied the design. Modifications: different stamp, color variations, vertical & punched edge piece, lowered the sentiment strip, changed to happy birthday, plain white background. I used an edge punch with holes to show the white card base; I thought that worked well with the un-inked circles on the stamped flower. This was a fun card to make. Thanks Susie for sharing your beautiful artwork and inspiring my creation. TFL
