Audrie's inspiration board from last weekend's ic was sincerely rich! I saw this https://www.pinterest.com/pin/387591111656329447/
and immediately thought of Susan (One4Joy) with her bike and our shared interest in beets. Long story. Anyway, this will be her Christmas card. (Don't peek, Susan. And if you do, act surprised and pleased when you receive it...) Eh. I probably should have waited to upload.
I fiddled all weekend, trying to do the central theme bare trees plus old tools and supplies, with the spelling challenge. The old supplies were the zig marker and dauber duos. I was surprised they were still juicy after years.
D delightfully dijon, daffodil delight, die-namics, dots
O old olive, olive grove
Z zig pen, teal zeal, razzleberry
E elderberry, ek success
I also tweaked the dimensions for this week's box card to showcase a landscape orientation.
I added a little interest to the sky by stamping elderberry and teal zeal with wadded up waxed paper.

Shared interest in beets - I wish I could get DH to share mine!! His dad used to grow them and I think he had too many in his childhood.
The landscape orientation and tree-lined scene are a perfect setting for that beautiful looking bike.

Susan will love this card. Her zany sense of humor will be tickled with not only the bike, but the color of beets!!

Sounds like this will be bringing a big, ol' smile on Susan's face! I love it when a card can have special meaning like that - and what a fun card too!

LOL I referred to yours and Susan's beetroot napkin story last week!! Brenda everything about this is fabulous, the bike looks like it is made from real metal, it must look even more amazing in real life.

Fabulous job! This can't be beat for combining so many challenges! Love the colors and the bicycle die cut. The sky is incredible. I need to try that technique. It all looks great. What a fun and personalized card for your friend. TFS
