I stressed a great deal before creating this page. Turns out, it was super easy to do. There are things I like, things I don't. Lessons learned: P-Touch printer tape reacts to heat (heat gun turned it black); Dried Twinkling H20s smear when gel medium is applied on top; Twinkling H20s not good with stencils; I needed to plan ahead to include a focal point.

First of all, super congrats for your mixed media page - it is stunning! Second of all I am glad you said there are things you like/don't like instead of things were right/wrong. NOTHING is wrong in a mixed media page! Some things you will want to do again and some things you will never do again - no problem. I don't necessarily think you need a focal point. Sometimes a page just...is. And I think this page just is.... great!

I love this! The spread is linked by the stencil and the wonderful layers and repeat images and colors and I love that twine stretching across. I can't believe this is one of your first attempts!

Wow what a great first try on Mixed Media. Even though your tape turned black with the heat, it still works fantastic with this page!!!! Super stunning job on this.
I'm a big fat scaredy cat, but you're inspiring me to jump right in.
