I love this challenge, thanks, Joan! I was browsing Pinterest and came across a card that inspired me to try to make a shaker card. Well....It may be a long time before I try another one!!! I have glitter EVERYWHERE!!! First of all, the glitter stuck to the acetate to cloud up the image. Second, I struggled with the foam tape to place around the circle to get a good seal. THEN, when all was done, I shook my card (after all, it is a SHAKER card), some of the glitter spilled out.....guess I didn't have it sealed all the way! UGH!!!!! So, now I'm gonna go back to Pinterest or SCS resources and look up how to properly do a shaker card that will actually shake and nothing comes out of it! LOL!
Have a great Monday!

Shaker or not, your card is terrific! I love the crisp, chilly, yet peaceful feel!
Just a hint.. I'm not a shaker card expert, but I usually use sequins or small beads instead of glitter. They don't get static and stick to everything. Hope that is helpful!

Such a grand card, Lesley. Sorry about your trials getting the card made. I bet you're still wearing some of that glitter. I love your shaker just the same.

I can believe how much glitter you have everywhere. I agree for many shaker cards confetti, beads or sequins are the rule. However, the use of glitter gives the wonderful effect of movement - the sense of a beautiful layer of snow being laid down to create the most serene snow-scape. Lovely card. A definite fav for me.
