For this challenge I chose to use the faux torn mosaic tutorial. I liked the result of the background, but learned that I need to take care when using a dauber in the center of the paper. (dauber circles show) In the future, I might distress use distress ink on the entire page, then tear, then distress the edges.

You did a beautiful job on this bg!! It does take a lot of time to do it! I looked at the bg paper and didn't even notice a dauber circle until I read your comments and then had to hunt for it. The paper is amazing, love the shades of color in it and the delicate design!!

This is one of the prettiest cards I've seen in a while. I will have to look up this technique and try it myself. This looks like a perfect use for some DSP that I never really knew what to do with. That background is stunning.
