My son is turning 20....sigh 20!!!!! next weekend so I made him this card. He still has all the cards I've made him over the years! I had so much fun making this!! I used Cricut Craft Room for the letters and I used the cartridge "Fontopia" for the words "Birthday boy/man" I cut them from a paper pad I had from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Generations". I then inked the edges and glued them to a piece of white cardstock and fussy cut around each one to make them pop! I took some Art Anthology dimensional gel paint in Black Leather and used a stamp I had (don't know the name)and stamped the image onto the card. I took a blue piece of American Crafts foil paper and used the Indie Art cartridge for the element under the word "BOY", I also used my gelatos with a stencil in green under the word "BOY" as well; then I took a red piece of American Crafts foil paper and cut out a circle and then cut out the line for the no circle. I lightly sanded each of the foil pieces to tone them down a bit. For the words "TO THE" I used some plain grungeboard letters and ran them through the Cuttlebug with a Sizzix embossing folder and painted them gold; along with a crown on the top of the letter "M". I finished it off with a piece of Tim Holtz's ball chain on the side. This was challenging for me, even though I make masculine cards and pages, I have a hard time not using bling and bows!!! TFL!!!
