This card was a challenge and there were a lot of steps. I cut the skates from a Tim Holtz die onto scrap cardboard. I then painted them and sanded lightly to give them a worn look. Then I laced them with red embroidery floss.
I embossed the blue background and die cut the branches out of different shades of green cardstock.
The poinsettia was printed using a free image on the internet, but I enhanced it with some ink, glitter and Perfect Pearls.
I mounted the whole thing to torn white cardstock and stitched around the edged. Then mounted the assembled card to a kraft card base.
