Rebecca asked us to use rainbows or a rainbow of colors on our cards for her HYCCT challenge and I had started this Dangle Art drawing the other day for the TLC. I used all the colors of the rainbow mixed into my fall leaves. Instead of rods, I drew branches adding woodgrain to them. For my sentiment I added the rainbow of colors along with the black. I went back with my glitter pen and added lots of highlights. I was trying to add pink to my heart but used watercolor crayon and when I added some water the whole thing became a blurry mess. I blurred a few of the other lines but decided the big heart needed a better makeover so I threw a punched heart over the top with some added sparkle just for fun. If I have time, I'll go back later and make a more traditional rainbow, but this is what I've got for now. ;) I simply layered over a tilted panel and tilted the image panel. If I have time I'm going to go back and tilt these the other direction now that I've seen the photos!

I am so stinking impressed that you drew this! It's awesome and I love the fall tones to the rainbow! You rock!

Oh Gail - how clever! I love that you used branches for your horizontals and dangled lovely leaves off them for such a seasonal card. And what a great way to incorporate a whole rainbow of colours.
