Lisa, aka Shoe Girl, is today' Featured Stamper. She is a wonderful contributor to SCS, leaves lots of comments on others' cards, and posts her favourites on the CAS Favorites and the regular Favorites threads each week.
I really enjoyed browsing through her gallery and kept finding cards I wanted to CASE! But then I spotted this one:
and decided it was the perfect opportunity to use a stamp I've had for a couple of years but never inked up.
I used the same stamp but made my card more CAS. I kept blue as the main colour but used coloured pencils instead of Lisa's Copics. I used my stitched squares die cuts to reflect Lisa's sewing. And instead of her ribbon treatment at the top of her image, I ran ribbon down the side of the card and tied in a bow. The ribbon holds a white paper inner liner as it is so hard to write on the shimmery cs.
Congratulations, Lisa!

I so like what you did with her. The coloring so sft and pretty, and a very neat border. I always admire girls with long beautiful hair like that and flowers in them...TFS..:0)

Susan, a beautiful and gentle card with the sweet girl. Leaving the bg white really makes her the focus. Your colored with colored pencils is outstanding.
