I saw the samples for today's Hot Glue Embossing tutorial when Connie uploaded them the other day, and was really looking forward to trying it out.
I need more practice, for sure - my glue seemed to set very quickly - but I had fun with this as a first trial.
I used gold EP, and went for colours to make a seaside scene so that I could add a bird to it. To complete the card I simply added a sentiment and two fine lines as a border.

This is absolutely beautiful Sabrina. I love your colour choices. I noticed that you and Sandi both said your glue dried too quickly, did you try reheating the glue with your heat tool? The glue sticks that I used were High Temp (it was what I had on hand) - I am wondering if that may make a difference?

You never dissapoint, Sabrina. This is stunning. It looks like it should be hanging in an art gallery. The colored bg with the gold bird and embossed glue creats such a lovely design. You sure captured that beech feel.

Beautiful focal piece and wonderfully framed. Hard to believe that's glue under there!
