Our son often times puts his son on his shoulders when we're all out for a walk. The view must be wonderful for him because you'll hear him laugh and say, "Papa did you see that, did you see that papa!" It will warm your heart. As we enter into the holiday season, I wish you a warm heart and home. We will begin to pack our belongings next week as we prepare to move to Charleston, S.C. Our new home is waiting for us. Y'all come won't you (she smiles).

This is PRECIOUS!!! I love your shading on the figures and as well on the frame that houses the focal figures and the sentiment. It is WONDERFUL, I am so impressed, and know this card is going to be very enthusiastically received. I hope to someday even come close to be able to color and shade and highlight as you do in your masterful way.
I am totally impressed by your artistry, as I have been before. How wonderful to be able to learn so much from an artist just by looking at their artwork as I do with you and your cards--I thank you for that. Because I rarely get to a class, most of what I learn is from tutorials and seeing other cards online, this is a prime example of the great educational opportunities on SCS alone, with artist like yourself so willing to teach someone like me who knows almost nothing about coloring. I am very grateful, please know your card has really touched my heart as well as what I have learned from your artistry in color and so much more. Of course this is going into my favorites so I can look at it and learn again and again. Sorry this is so long...

oh...this one is so heart warming....
The matching jackets and pants, the son's enthusiasm...what is best about the holidays and fathers/sons always...
Your story reminded me of a short one...a little girl was on her dad's shoulders...saw something in a street fair she wanted to go to, and STEERED him with his EARS...LMAO...too funny. She turned him hard and he suddenly veered to the table she wanted and then of course it was "down! down!". Tall guy too. Fun memory. Thanks for triggering it!
I hope the move goes well!

What a sweet and heart-warming card! My husband's daughter and her family live in Beaufort, SC, and we love to visit them in that fabulous location! Just might see you! (smiling!)

Oh, Susie, y'all are amazing, you know - hehe! Truly, precious friend, this is absolutely stunning. Your coloring is outstanding, and I love the warm colors you've chosen and the wonderful die with the out-of-the-box technique. What a precious story about Teddy's being on daddy's shoulders and asking questions. Wishing you joy in this move, and I know that you and Vance will love being near the kids. And a very happy and blessed anniversary to you and Vance! Tender hugs, my sweet friend!
