OMG... I am becoming a CAS queen. If you want to do all the HYCCT challenges while working full time, cooking all the meals, doing laundry ( I swear extra people must come into my house at night and get more clothes dirty), and keep your family from disowning you, CAS style cards are a necessity. I saw the challenge this morning and thought about a design while doing my lunch break walk along the lake. I must admit to being so distracted that I steped in more than one of the piles that the evil Canadian geese leave on the walking trail...I swear they were laughing at me. The thing that look forever on this card was getting the sentiment in the right place. I really should just stick to writing things in a straight line. I cut the "love" and hearts out of a watercolored and splattered piece of cardstock. I die cut the "love" out of my washi tape panel so I could inlay the die cut red word. The panel is popped up on craft foam. Whoo hoo...day 6 and I am still on track.

You cracked me up-I know what you mean about getting distracted though! I love the way you inlaid your sentiment into the Washi strip and your spattered hearts look great too!

Love everything about this - great and interesting layout! I really enjoyed reading your description too. Can totally relate. I can clean the entire kitchen, go upstairs and come back to a mess! Thanks for playing in the HYCCT challenge.

How light-hearted and happy this is! You know I love music on cards, and here you've paired it with the perfect sentiment.
Hmm, it sounds as if the man who chases the geese off the paths isn't doing his job properly! Be thankful you don't have horses - which we have on the streets around where I work, never mind dog-owners who don't clean up after their dogs.

You be the woman to win the award today! 6 days and running says a lot about commitment. Tell the family and the laundry ~ they will have to wait. I see you brought back your passion for color with this one. Really sweet card.
