My card for the Don't Color Between the Lines challenge. The challenge allows a highlight of color or sparkle and that's what I did with the grey Chameleon Pen on the petals close to the bud and all else is left open.
The background is created with the Gelli Plate, acrylic paint and sprays. After the paint is applied to the plate stamp the flower image which picks up some of the paint and leaves an imprint of the flower. The white grid is the sprays.
Perfect Paper Crafting - Perfect Layers Mini were used to create the 1/16" black border, it's cut with a craft knife using the Perfect Cutting Mat.

OMG Roxie, your mixed media Gelli Plate background is so soft and beautiful. Just perfect for your beautiful uncolored except a tiny bit at the base of your flower. Right into my fav's my friend. TFS
Fabulous card, Roxie! I love the neat BG you created and the light touch of shading on the main flower! I'm so glad Nancy mentioned it on her post, so I could see it!
