I CASED our Featured Stamper's Mayapple, Watercolored Petals and Pinwheels. She has a wonderful gallery, and also makes gracious comments. I loved the white embossing and watercolor on it. I used a different image and I watercolored with Derwent watercolor pencils and an aqua painter. After watercoloring I put the aqua brush to the pencil and then flicked the colors randomly on the card.
I first stamped with Fast & Fabulous in VersaMark, then embossed with Winter White Embossing Powder. This was my third try, didn't like the others. First I did it on Whisper white, and the paper didn't do well with the water. So, this is on water color paper. Anyway, I used the pencils as close as I could to our Color Challenge this week. (So Saffron, and Blushing Bride) Then I used Blushing Bride & Pear Pizazz CS. Thank you Mayapple for your inspiration!
I love watercoloring with the Derwent Pencils! I learned this from Lydia (UnderstanBlue) on one of her tutorials.
This card will go to our Teapotter Mother, Cindy, who lost her husband recently. We hope these cards will be comforting.
Thanks for looking.

I just, for the first time, purchased white EP. Why didn't I think to use it on a card? I love the embossed flowers. I could have cased this beautiful card. I have to think Cindy will really appreciate your talent and kindness.
